Privacy Policy

What Our Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy covers treatment of personally identifiable information that our site may collect from you while on our website. This also covers treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us. This policy does not apply to the practices of other companies that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

We collect personally identifiable information when you send us emails or information in our online forms. We may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners. When you send us a comment or question, we may ask for your name, email address and phone numbers. Once you inquire or send a question or comment to us, you are not anonymous to us.

Consumer Report Information

We may obtain information from consumer reporting agencies. This information includes your driving record, claims history with other insurers, and credit report information. The information is kept by the consumer reporting agencies and disclosed by them to others as permitted by law. We cannot correct Consumer Report Information, such as your credit report. To do this, you must contact the consumer reporting agency that provided it. Information about you and your credit experiences, such as your bill-paying history, the number and type of accounts with last payments, collection actions, outstanding debt, and the age of your accounts is collected from your credit report. Using a statistical program, specialized companies compare this information to the credit performance of consumers with similar profiles. An Insurance Scoring system assigns points for each factor and a final score is computed.

We cannot use credit history or an Insurance Score for any arbitrary, capricious or unfairly discriminatory reason. Additionally, credit history or an Insurance Score based wholly or partly on residence, sex, race, color, creed, occupation, income, physical handicap or disability of an applicant or insured is prohibited.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. We also will not send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people without your authorization. The quoting or binding of insurance coverage, or the resolution of billing or claims issues may require that we share information with insurance companies that we represent. We will also respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process if required by law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may amend or change this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you by updating our privacy policy on this page.
